Tourists
So you may ask yourself, what are the most obvious signs that someone is a tourist in any given city? Well, the best way to tell is to see someone riding a metro/train. The metro single handedly has the power to identify someone as a tourist.
Off the top of my head:
- standing still on the left side of the esculator
- traveling with a large group of people on the metro
- blocking people trying to get off the metro
- talking really loudly
- using the farecard machine like your dismantling a bomb
- wearing a strange hat
- camera around the neck, khaki shorts, little kids running around
and lastly
- wearing jeans shorts
